Important: please read all of this before you proceed.
SysStats comes as just one big ZIP file - basically all you need to do is unzip it in the correct location (see below). If you want to install it for AveDesk you can just rename the .zip to .aveinst and then double-click it - AveDesk should do the rest. If it doesn't, just use the unzip method below:
So you've got SysStats installed, how do you add a widget? First of all you might want to download one or two and install them - the SysStats download doesn't include any (to keep it as small as possible). Follow the same basic procedure as for SysStats itself, i.e. just unzip it into the correct location. If you're lucky and its for AveDesk, chances are you can just rename the .zip as .aveinst and double-click it.
However older widgets might need to be unzipped manually, and you will have to follow this route for anything other than AveDesk anyway. So read on if you're in that situation:
Now you can add a widget. In AveDesk just use the usual Add Desklet dialog in the AveDesk control panel. If it's for ObjectDock first add a SysStats docklet - this will give you a 'big blue questionmark'. Then right click on that and select 'Load config...'. Select one and you should be all set.
If you have to unzip the zip manually take a look inside it first. All widgets have to live in .../docklets/sysstats (that docklets folder will be right inside you AveDesk/Object/YzDock/RKLauncher folder). Now some folks package up their widgets better than others so if the ZIP already has everything under a docklets folder you can just unzip the package into your AveDesk/ObjectDock/YzDock/RKLauncher folder directly.
If it doesn't you may have to work out where to unzip it. i.e. if the zip has everything under a sysstats folder, just uzip it directly into the docklets folder. Hopefully you get the idea.
